October 2012 - Demonstration Site Delivers Results
Macedon Ranges Council has initiated major repair work to the septic tank system at IR Robertson Reserve Samaran's monitoring system provided evidence of repeated drainage line failure.
Monitoring of the new drainage system will continue to be undertaken.
May 2012 - Interstate Demonstration Sites
The Tasmanian Council of Kingborough and Parks & Wildlife Tasmania will be installing the integrated septic tank monitoring system at several sites.
This is seen as a significant step in establishing awareness within the industry as to the benefits of automated monitoring.
The opportunity to showcase the operation of the monitoring and dosing system in local settings will enable those involved in wastewater management to inspect the sites and make an informed assessment of the

April 2012 New Demonstration Sites
Macedon Ranges Shire has approved the installation of septic tank monitoring systems at Hanging Rock and the I R Robertson Reserve Gisborne South.
One of two installations at Hanging Rock will incorporate a Drainwave dosing unit that will be connected to an existing sand filter. The Drainwave has been fitted with an electronic counter and connected to the Samaran system to enable accurate recording of the volume of effluent disposal.
The installations will be complete by mid April and Samaran is able to arrange inspections for interested parties by arrangement.
